Im looking for an organization or person to call to help with finding resources for the elderly in Lakewood. What is available from the state and how to tap into that.

There's a connections event monthly for 55 plus community

Are there any state resources such as home health aid?
What is the connection event for. Is it a social event or is it to share information about what resources are available?

I dont know much about these things, but I do know NY is much better for the elderly for some of these things. Even medical care is better there.
