Any links or recommendations for everyday shoes for boys that will last longer than 2 months?
Geox is garbage IME...
I'd prefer without laces and the sole needs to be a dark color.

How long shoes last, depends on the child. Some children wear out shoes faster than others. If depends on the gait and walk. My children have the same shoes, one can look like garbage after afew weeks and one is in perfect condition after a season. It depends on the kid. Some kids need new shoes every 3 months.

Was also going to recommend Nike. My 1st grade DS had his pair the entire year last year wearing them everyday. Just bought him a new pair for this school year

Imo there are kids that kill their shoes regardless of the quality.
Buy cheap shoes and replace every 2-3 months. It's not worth paying a lot of money.
It's also possible they need orthotics. Some family members used to buy shoes every 3 months but after we got orthotics shoes lasted much longer!!
(Some boys like to jump in puddles, some ride bikes and use shoes as brakes.... )
Burlington have good sneakers for $30

The only shoes that last more that 2 months on my boys are nikes. They wore leather nikes the whole winter last year. Geox used to be great but not anymore.

We had nikes, adidas, under armour, geox.
The longest one of them lasted was four months. That’s just the way they wear the shoes!

I came on here to ask the exact same question and found this thread! I’ve tried expensive, I’ve tried cheap, I’ve tried middle - none last longer than 4-5 months! (Though the cheap ones only last for 2-3 months.) I wish there was a better option!

I buy my boys Ricosta shoes. They are pricey but last at least a year and sometimes even longer. The soles don't rub out, when I have to replace it, it's because the material is worn out.

I was just dropping here to recommend these. They last until my son outgrows the pair. Yay.

Nike, new balance, asics
any pair of good sneakers last about 3 to 4 months depending on the child. I have one child who goes through shoes like water and another that can wear the same pair for a few years!

I looked at some Nike sneakers but all I saw were clunky ones with big logos. I need something more "conservative" looking.
Any links or styles I should check out?

It’s so dependent on the child and how they walk.
I buy my boys geox most of the time. I have one kid that wears them out in 3 months. And another that I buy new ones only because his size has changed. Same shoe, different kid.

Same. Also have a bunch of boys. Absolutely has to do with the kid.
