I'd like to surprise dh and buy him a guitar.
He's been dying to learn guitar for a while and he's pretty musical.
A friend lent him a guitar and told him he'll try to give him some pointers but as soon as he got it he said it wouldn't work as dh is a leftie and needs a special guitar.
Where can I buy a decent low priced leftie guitar?
I don't want to spend too much as he is rather flighty and might not end up using it too much if he's not sufficiently motivated.
Any tips, brand & model recommendations would be appreciated.

Is he interested in acoustic or electric?
If there’s a Guitar Center store near you you can go in and ask for help; they have a huge variety and are very helpful. They have a bunch of locations.
Or there’s a website Sweetwater that has a large selection at very good prices.
Some good companies that have cheaper options are Fender and Ephiphone, but expect to pay at least like $150-200.
I’m not sure about the left handed thing though. You can try googling it, or if you go into a store they should know.

Interesting, I'm curious what the experts say.
Does he hold it differently?
