It should have been in the Yom Kippur issue.

What's got to me was that 1 couple decided to split up. That means that either the husband or wife survived.

Two wives were in another helicopter. My friend’s brother unfortunately died in the crash, but his wife was in the other helicopter. What got to me is that she said one of them switched last minute because she wanted to be with her husband.

I read it over Shabbos and I can’t stop thinking about it. I’ve been going through something very difficult and was having a lot of self pity, but this story really made me rethink things. While it doesn’t take away my actual pain, it helps me realize that no, I am not going through the worst thing in the world even if sometimes it feels like it.

I think I met her. I was working in a bungalow colony and her sister was there. The daughter of the sister and they made her a birthday party while the aunt and her kids were visiting. I believe that they left the kids with her sister in the bungalow colony while they were going on that vacation. I remember going away for Shabbos and I got back Sunday morning and it was raining and the bakery truck arrived and everyone was deathly silent and then I found out what had happened with the helicopter crash. I don't remember what happened to the cousins of my camper because I don't remember them staying the rest of the summer.

However, I had no idea this woman, or this family, existed. They are amazing beyond. Wow.

I'm so happy they got the story out, and I'm glad I will be able to daven for Chany.

Chana Sarah bat Esther....may she, together with all of us, see Moshiach b'karov and be zoche to all the refuos and yeshuos that Hashem will bring in that time.

Her maiden name was Lichtenstein. So doesn't really add up.

I had the same thoughts. Such a tragic story. They should’ve kept it for a different issue.
