I’m looking for a really good anti aging serum and/or moisturizer. Currently using Bobbi Brown products which I love, but not sure if they’re really anti aging. Willing to spend in the $100 range. I’m in my 40s, BH have youthful looking skin, and would like to keep it that way as long as possible

I’d pay that if it’s very good. But should I be specifically looking for one with retinol?

Honestly if you're not expecting you should have retinoids, maybe visit your dermatologist to get a prescription because they can give you much more effective drugs than cosmetics/OTC products

2 different things. My dermatologist recommended renova, but you use that overnight. The serum is used in the morning before your moisturizer.

Good question. I used to use Laura Mercier, but they discontinued the one I liked. Now I use something with an spf - either Lancome or Olay. I try not to use something too heavy as I have combination skin.
