Try reaching out to recruiting firms like izn and pcs. Candibots.com might also be helpful

Unfortunately beginner programming jobs are very hard to find in Lakewood.

You can try Madison title, fidelity, ltc but it's very likely they don't have openings right now.

If it's an option I would call one of these places and ask if they would consider a free internship for a few months, that way you can gain experience and hopefully be considered a better candidate or even get a job there once you've got your foot in the door.

Most colleges include a 3 month unpaid internship as part of their degree and I think it's a great way to learn and become a better programmer (honestly programmers fresh out of college/boot camp aren't very valuable to companies which explains why it's hard to find a job)

It's a catch 22, everyone tells the girls that programming is a great field but nobody wants a programmer without experience. I know someone who did a course at a place that promised a 3 month internship (not NJ)but then couldn't keep their promise.
I've been through this with a couple of my kids and here is my advice
- keep developing skills with Udemy or other courses. Try to learn AWS it's a huge field.
- try to find a job in a company that has a large programming department even if it's not a programming - and then try to work your way in.
- call anyone you know.
- she should offer to intern for free. I do know ppl who did that
- if she's confident there's a website that people post ad hoc projects/job that they need done and programmers "bid" to get the job, I think theres a small fee

Hatzlocha!!

What is the name of the group?

Just wondering if my dd is on it, as I know she's on some sort of group for frum developers.

Thanks!

Op have you had luck with finding a job?

My dd also just finished a year long course and is having difficulty finding an entry level job. We're oot so it needs to be remote as well.

Just wondering how other people in this field are doing!
