The first time he had it was terrible. He really thought he wouldn’t make it. He just got it again. I thought second time is supposed to be nothing but he’s feeling so sick.
What are the best options for him right now?

My family member is quite sick now for the second time, although hopefully not as bad as the first time. His doctor told him not to take anything for now but to call him for antibiotics if he starts having phlegm.
I would speak to your doctor as he knows your DH’s specific situation.

Why phlegm? Everyone has phlegm with it.
