I just attended a workshop on balloon sculpting and had a blast! It also happened to have been very good exercise for hand and finger mobility, though that wasn't its stated purpose, just a fringe benefit. In a few weeks will be candlemaking and I can hardly wait for that. I have plenty of other avenues for intellectual exercise including attending college classes, and I enjoy the occasional fun/creative activity as well. All work and no play, you know...If studying sefarim is play for you, shkoyach. For me, it's work. Work I may enjoy, but still work. Sometimes I like doing something fun and different that doesn't require enormous intellectual input and that doesn't involve interacting with individuals too young to vote. So sue me.
