Akko israel decent/safe jewish place for hotel stay?

Was thinking to stay in akko for a night or 2 for ocean view along the coast there, I see some people on this post said felt unsafe there.. , is akko an Arab community?

Yes it's a mostly Arab population city. It really is beautiful. But I wouldn't pick it for an overnight stay. I stayed ocean front in Nahariya and LOVED it.

There are definitely lots of Arabs in Akko. We only visited during the day, and even then I remember feeling distinctly uncomfortable walking around and insisting that my little kids stay with me and even hold my hand at times. When we tried to go visit a historic shul (I think it was called Ramchal), we had to walk quite a ways through the Arab market to get there, which was extremely nerve-wracking.
