Which gender do you have?
What’s it like for you?
Just curious. I have all boys. They’re very sweet BH and I’m so happy to have them. I also would love love to have a daughter. I feel a strong longing especially by every mother-daughter event I see, precious little girl clothes, BY play, etc..
I wonder how different it would be.
I wonder what it’s like for other people.

5 girls
Oldest is 8 so not much to say what it’s like in the long run. Def easy all around in terms of school and camp schedule and also like txnius wise. I don’t have to think about taking them to the beach or the mall (I know my friends with boy debate about that one…)

Good points. One advantage of having all one gender is I can buy the same thing in a bunch of sizes and usually everything will fit someone or someone will grow into it soon. And hand me downs are convenient.

This doesn’t apply to me, but DH was commenting that he sees so many families with all girls, and he is wondering where all the boys are. I told him there are plenty of all boy families - we just happen to know more girl ones.

So funny - we are the complete opposite. We have only boys, and most of my friends have only boys or boys with one girl. We were wondering where all the girls are!

Same. And I feel so guilty I didn't give my daughter a sister. I feel like everyone she knows has sisters.
