Do people give bus drivers money on Chanukah? If so, what's the range? I'm in BP.

Same. 50$
They collect for the teachers so I gave them less each. There are 4 teachers. I think it's ludicrous that the bus drivers get more than the teachers do. What are your thoughts?

I give the drivers 15. Never heard of anyone giving 50. Most people I know give between 10 and 25 for bus drivers. But I have different bus drivers for each kid- they're in different schools. One kid even has a different driver for morn run and afternoon,
Those that said you give 50- do you have a lot of kids on the bus? Where do you live?

Yes. Between $20-$50 is normal. If it’s more than one route I’d give more than the minimum

I'm confused with the accepted range for morah's, everyone seems to say something else. I really have a lot of hakaros hatov to them for going above and beyond. Therefore it is a priority for me to give a nice tip although I don't want it to be over the top of what's within the normal range. Any ideas of what accepted as a higher range in BP?

I don’t understand everyone giving to much to the bus driver when they only give $15 to the teachers??

I tried doing a group collection for the bus and everyone was like…oh no. The drivers wait all year for this. They would rather get more cash. We give them $50 cash. Wth and you think the person who teaches your child prefers your just chip in for $15????

I agree.
15$ for teachers and $50 for bus drivers seems weird.
It's probably not the same posters. I hope.
The same way on the cleaning lady thread ppl gave one week's salary as a holiday gift. I hope those ppl don't give $15 to their kids teacher either!
