Family I really try to go if I don’t have anything conflicting. Close friends, if I can sleep in my own bed.

It depends what you mean by close family. Siblings, yes. Nieces and nephews, not always. (and not everyone invites all aunts and uncles to nieces and nephews aufruf/shabbos-sheva-brachos).
