I booked a 2 bedroom rental in Bay Harbour, 10 mins walk to Bal Harbour and had to back out last minute, so it's available if anyone wants to grab it, since I know how everything is booked up Yeshiva Week.
Bumping this up because they will refund me if it ends up getting booked for Jan 26-February 2. I don't blame them - they're not obligated to refund me at all since it clearly stated no refunds within a certain time frame. Even though it's not on the beach, it has a pool and is walking distance to the beach. Very good price and excellent location. Walking distance to Kosher restaurants and stores.
You might have better luck if you offer to subsidize someone's stay there by paying part of the rental cost. You have nothing to lose, since if nobody takes it you're out the full cost, so anything they pay is money back for you.
