You can always install an Israeli style drain in the middle of the floor and just hose the whole bathroom down nightly

I think they have it in japan, public restrooms Smile

While you put in your order of those toilets make your boys wipe the floors. It trains them *much faster* as wiping urine isn't a funny thing.

I actually asked about that a number of years ago. It isn't that simple Crying

I want self mopping floors.

And tables that clean the clutter on them.

I realize the question is facetious but Toto toilets with washlets are as close to self cleaning as one can get.

They have a Sana finish which is smooth so nothing sticks. They water down the sides of the toilet when you approach which also helps sticking. They also self clean after use.

And you can program them so that the seat lifts up and goes down when someone stands in front of them - or just have the lid go up and down automatically,

A "skirted" toilet really also helps keep things clean. A skirted toilet has smooth sides and you don't see the "traps" which tend to accumulate shmutz and other unpleasant things. With a skirted toilet you can just wipe it down easily like a counter - and they are more attractive as well.

ETA If you are building or doing a gut remodel, consider a wall hung toilet because it makes cleaning the floor so much easier since there are no "edges" where the toilet meets the floor to pick up gook. There is a reason why commercial toilets are generally wall hung.

Another option for a boys' bathroom would be a urinal.

I already invented self-folding laundry. The problem is that you have to embed numerous bits of metal so the robot can sense where the hems, sleeves, neckline, etc. are. So it's not likely to happen anytime soon.

Installing a drain in the floor is very doable, but it's best done at the beginning of construction. A little hard to put in an existing floor.
