Someone threw up on a wall to wall carpet (deep pile).

Any ideas about how to clean it? I live in Israel so please don't suggest an American product.

How about washing it by using a wet shmata with soap on it?

Don't they have carpet cleaner spray over there?
I'm trying to imagine what all my friends and family in Israel would do with carpet cleaner, but they must have something.
