Buy a baby carrier. Then your hands will be free. Some babies need to be held a lot.

I used a baby swing for at night. Otherwise she wouldn't sleep in the beginning.

With my others, if they were fed, burped, clean, and swaddled, I would generally be able to put them into the bassinet to relax and sleep. Not this one! She only wants to be held…I can settle her in my arms, and every time I transfer her she wakes up crying within a few minutes.
I know it’s within the realm of normal, but I am so tired! How do I get her to sleep out of my arms?? I’m getting desperate!
(She would happily sleep in her car seat but I am not comfortable with that safety wise) |
Shes a week old!! It's totally normal!! And of course you are tired!!!
Babywear or cosleep
Do not use carseat or swing
