Dd would like a brighter shabbos lamp for reading. We keep hers on top of her chest (so pretty high up).
Does anyone have a recommendation for something brighter?
Right now she has this. It holds a florescent.

We cannot use an LED bulb inside, since it's made poorly. But if you know of a shabbos lamp that comes with LED / is designed for LED, I'd be really happy to hear about it!

The kosher innovation travel lamp is an led and much brighter than the light from the one you linked. (I have both). The downside is that it is not a replaceable bulb. It is supposed to last a very long time (30,000 hours)

I see the other lamp you listed states that it has an output of up to 200 lumens. Maybe you can call kosher innovations (I have called them in the past) and ask what the lumen output is of the travel lamp. No physicist here, but I assume the greater the lumens, the greater the light output.
Actually, while you are at it, you can ask them the lumen output of the max innovations one. Maybe it is only my perception that it is *much* brighter--they should be able to answer that question too.

We have these and love them. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D.....ss_tl I put the type that you have in the guest and kids rooms.
It’s not gorgeous, but I love that it’s a gooseneck, and I was told I can angle it on Shabbos, which is very useful. The direction of the light matters a lot, so this would probably be best since her lamp is not right next to her pillow, so she can angle it.
Another option I got for one room: I got a lamp that’s attached to the wall, since there was no place for a night table nearby. Just search Amazon for a wall mounted lamp. I had it put up near DD’s pillow, and we put a Sha-bulb into it, which has a lever that can be opened or closed on Shabbos. Also on Amazon.
Here’s links, not exactly what I have, but same idea: https://www.amazon.com/TRLIFE-.....ss_tl

Watch the video, it’s cute!

I own the first lamp linked here. One option not mentioned is that you can lift the entire cover off of the lamp for maximum brightness. I find that this lamp lights up the whole room, not just directing light on the object it is shining on.

Thanks! Can you check of it's LED or florescent, and if there's a standard replaceable bulb?

Thank you for the info on the clip on version!
Btw we do have a shabbulb. We use it in the laundry room (sometimes for guests in other rooms), plugged in to the wall socket with this.

I love it but it's not something I'd keep plugged in all week (dd keeps her lamp on throughout).

Great idea! I was thinking of removing the frosted plastic from the opening.

It gets hot being plugged in (mine is plugged in directly to the wall - not plugged into a lamp that you turn on and off).

I have this one (don’t think we paid anything near this price)
https://www.amazon.com/ShabLed.....0b6bc
There’s also one I’m not seeing online that is about the size of a smartphone and you plug it directly into the wall and it has a piece on the side that you slide up and down to cover/uncover the light.

The one you have now comes with led bright 5000k bulbs. We switched our old ones to led bulbs

I checked the Amazon listing and it still says florescent. I guess I'll go into the Judaica store and see if they have any with LED.
Ours is not safe for LED bulbs which get too hot for such a flimsy piece. It's dangerous based on my conversation with someone in the industry.
Thanks for the info!

Yes this is what I was talking about. I saw it by someone but not actually turned on so not sure how bright it is.
