I need a recipe for a very pretty, no lettuce, salad trifle that can be made in glass jars.
I once had at a kiddush a very yummy and beautiful salad layered with peas, corn, maybe carrot sticks... but I really cant remember the details
Any recipes you've tried would be apprecaited

Google "layered salad" as there are loads of variations depending on what tastes you are looking for.

So pretty 🤩
If you have an alligator chopper you can chop everything uniformly
Layer all different color peppers seperately, cucumber, red onion, and top with tiniest cherry tomatoes
On the side have dressing cumin, olive oil, lemon, salt

Your request reminds me of solotka pod shuboi - herring under a fur coat It's a Russian recipe. Very pretty, and very popular with Russians.
Layers of herring, cooked potatoes, carrots, beets, mayo, hard boiled eggs
