The last we checked it was $1500-2000 depending on the finish (level of fanciness of the kitchen etc)
But that was beginning of last year. It may have gone up.

For some reason Oak and vine seems to be a good $300 more expensive than the rest of Lakewood.
Does anybody know why?

Very high demand
Good location (walkable to evergreen and other shops etc)
And it’s relatively still new so the houses are nice and the basements are huge (which is why I considered a basement at the time).

The basements are pretty big. Almost all are 3bed 2bath. I’d guess around 700-800sqf

Some are 4 bedroom!
2 bath.
Eat in kitchen.
Dining room/lounge
And a laundry closet. Yeah I loved the basements there but didn’t work out for us to move to Lakewood.

You call 800sf big?

I guess coming from BP it is? This is so confusing!

I thought you're talking about 1800sf easily.

I live in KJ and looking into Lakewood. Are you saying I'll pay 2k for a 800sf basement?

I'm paying 2k now for 1600sf second floor.

Meanwhile in Cleveland I've got a 3 bedroom house with an attic, detached 2 car garage and basement for $1200 a month plus water and sewer and electric and gas---- so with all of THAT I'm still under $2000 a month.

These aren’t buildings or town houses we’re talking about. They are basements of ppls homes.
