Who said cyber security is boring? Everyone I know loves the feild |
Do you know if it's hard to learn or not? I did not do well in computers class throughout highschool.
I found the subject of computers to be complicated and the facets to be complex.
But cybersecurity does seem like a well paying job so I'm wondering if it makes sense for me to give it a shot or if it'll be too challenging for someone who failed computers class.

Party planning
Flower arranging for simchos
Nutritionist for hospital or nursing home
Program director for rehab
Court stenographer
Radiology
Gym director
Gym teacher in a school or gym
Office manager for any medical office.
How are you with art and music? Open an after school program. My kids and now grandkids love taking art and music lessons.
There are absolutely different opportunities.
First- what are your strengths and weaknesses
Next- what do you enjoy
Then- which field allows you to combine first two points
Last- research: requirements, fees, investments ( time, energy, money)
Good luck. You’re sure to find something.

Do you appreciate technical, detailed work? You need to have a certain type of brain, enjoy technicalities, details, complex operations.

hmm. I have to think it over. Does anyone you know what kind of work cybersecurity does? What are typical tasks that they have on a given day?

That's a great suggestion! What skills do you need to have in order to become a recruiter? What classes/schooling did you need to do to become one?

For anyone who said pharmacy, as a pharmacist's wife, I strongly discourage this field.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned social work. I'm not familiar with the schooling but if you get a counseling type of social work degree, you're essentially a therapist - which has a lot of flexibility and good pay

Sometimes people who had challenges learning…. make the best teachers! They figure out how to make learning accessible an fun.
Yes, stressful, but can be tremendously gratifying.

Why do you discourage pharmacy?

Im a seamstress
I had ups and downs but BH its pretty steady income
more work around purim and pesach times and all holidays and wedding seasons
sfira time when theres less purchasing and no weddings theres less work
the hours are really flexible - I work when I can
also in israel , a well paying job is opening a 'tzaharon' which is like an after school program for kids between 2-6 years old (whatever ages you choose) you dont really need sp much learning but you do need to love children and have lots of games ready- group games, and toys, board games and 1 hot meal usually) parents that work long hours really enjoy these services and are willing to pay -if you make yourself a good name
