Were a family with kids ages 3-9. Some are boys who have school every day including Sunday until summer break. We live in Lakewood.

We don’t want to make yom tov in Israel (I mean obviously we want to! But it will be logistically too hard for us to swing.)- but we want to plan a trip. What time of year should we do that?

Either go in the summer or take the kids out of school for a week.

We take our kids out of school for important trips. IMO, an Israel trip is very special and kids can learn much more than they'll learn in school.
