Does it take 6 hours to dehydrate foods in a Oster Countertop Oven?

Thats a long time to keep an appliance busy, before Pesach.

Can I use the Dehydrate function for something that gets ready quicker?

Skip that feature now. You don't need beef jerky now or carrot chips for on top of salads. Those are extras. Concentrate on cooking

We used a dehydrator for dried fruit. It did take 6hours
