I'm trying to help dh's family with this. They are eligible for and are currently receiving food stamps and health insurance benefits. From what I understand, they should be eligible for free phones too. I'm sure I can do it online and figure it out on ny.gov but if anyone knows of a cell phone store I can go to take care of it in person and on the spot, I would really appreciate it. Preferably, in boro park but Flatbush is fine too.

We just got a free sim card and paid very little for a cell phone and tablet through q-link, similar idea as the Obama phone. We did it all online.
