Ok I am completely fed up with the pediatrician situation here. I have used two separate practices and could not stand either. I currently have a newborn that needs a well visit. Anyone know of any pediatricians that are not like a factory? somewhere we won’t sit and wait for ages and ages? Not forced to follow the dr blindly and allowed to have their own opinions about their child’s health? Just curious if this is even a possibility.

I completely understand you. Dr Hirsch a”h was incredible. Once he was nifter I went from pediatrician to pediatrician. There was no way to possibly replace him. He was always available, he was incredibly knowledgeable, and he trusted a mothers gut and took my opinions into account.
I haven’t found anything near that since, but I’m pretty happy right now at precious health. You do have to sort of know which Dr to see for what thing, but all in all it’s pretty good.
They are a factory though, and I miss the personal care of Dr Hirsch. He would be offended if I reminded him the names of my kids, as if he would ever forget them!
Precious health just opened a Jackson location so it may be a little less wait time

Same and I was just thinking about him cuz it’s his yahrtzeit around now. OP I am very happy at Westpark. The PA that I see there trained under Dr. Hirsch.

Happy with Westpark as well. Don't find the wait time long but they do have very business like hours unlike other Lakewood practices.

I use westpark and am very happy there. I thought they only have Drs and NPs. Who there is a PA?

Using WestPark and I find it very easy to get appointments. Dr woolweaver is very good at working with you and you don't have to follow her blindly.

Us too 😭 besides for being my kids pediatrician, he was also a close friend of my parents for many years (plus my sis+his daughter are bffs).
For a while, his right hand nurse/medical transcriber (Jeanie) used to work at my work and I was able to ask her questions, since she knew exactly how he’d think and which specialists he’d refer to. But she moved out of state  I tried out others and see one at CHEMED, but it’s obviously not the same and never will be. There will never be anyone like Dr Hirsch.

I am ok .. happy at precious health.
And yes I hope Jackson location will help with the waits

He was partners with Dr Hirsch in Manalapan for many years

I've used Dr. Indich for years and its very easy to get appointments. Mostly short wait times too.

I also use Dr Indich for almost 20 years. U have to be able to deal with his personality. Also the wait times were always minimal like less than 15 minutes, however the last year or 2 I've waited a bunch of times between 1/2 hr and 45 minutes which is really unusual for them.

So we’ve used him in the past but his personality was not for me….I do like how the office is run tho

I’m thrilled with Dr Levy and Dr Rosenblum at chemed, I have a 6 week old (and older kids) and these are the drs I almost always see
