If you knew you had only one more chance for children, and were pleasantly surprised that the very last frozen embryo turned into a healthy baby against all odds, what would you name him/her? Ideally also the name of someone from Tanach or Gemara.
Yehuda comes to mind, for Leah’s reasoning of having more kids than she thought she was going to. Shmuel is obvious. DH thinks they’re both too common. I like Elishama and Shealtiel for the meanings, but I worry that they’re too uncommon. We don’t love Nosson/Yonoson/etc. because the rest of our community would likely pronounce it differently. Nissim might be a good compromise? Was there anyone in Tanach named Nissim? Can’t use Baruch or Menachem or Simcha.
For girls, Yehudis for the feminine of Yehuda, but DH doesn’t like it. I love Chaya, but only combined with something (Chaya Sara etc. but we can’t use Sara). I love Rus for the meaning as pointed out in the Gemara, that it’s from the root of “sated” because she merited Dovid who “sated” Hashem with tehillim, and we would be “sated” after more children than we thought possible. I wish I liked the combination Chaya Rus but I’ve known a few and it would be weird. Ahuva/Liba goes without saying, but I don’t like it by itself, and is there a male equivalent? I love Tehilla, and to a lesser extent Eliana and Hodaya, but they probably would not work in our community. Can’t use Bracha or Chana. And I’m pretty sure that none of the girl names I like are anyone in Tanach or Gemara.
I would also love if the name combined meant something, like there was once an imamother here who named her son “Netanel Simcha” and I love that so much.
Am I asking the impossible? Feel free to come up with other ideas to combine with the names I’ve already listed.

I don’t live in your community and had Tehilla, Elianna, and Hodaya on my short girl list, and have used one of them. Don’t really know what to recommend after those.
My boy names are Yedidya (LOVE Yedidya Dovid) or can a you go with Yishai for a boy? It is David Ben Yishai and I also believe it means gift from Hashem.

I like Nissim for a boy. I have a Nissim. I'm not sure if it's in Tanach, but definitely in the Gemara.
I'm a fan of Rut for a girl.
(I don't do double names, so no input there)

I have that one more chance for a baby, but we only name after family. I told my husband that since we have this chance, we should involve family in the decision.

Oh I like Chaviva and Nesya! What does Ravit mean? But I don’t know if any of these work in my community.
I like Yechiel and Binyamin and Yerachmiel too.
Too many choices ahhh!
