Ordered a fancy cheesecake

For local delivery. And their delivery window ended yesterday! I’m sad, because I splurged on one nice thing and I even thought about it ahead of time. I’m not going to say where I am or which company, but I’m disappointed. And yes, I know it should be the worst inconvenience I face.

As the owner of a busy business around yt season, I’m sorry, but you should have ordered in the window. I can’t drop all my pre-yontif prep and run your order to the other side of town on erev yt

I hope you didn’t pay and if you did I hope you get your money back.
Leave a message to cancel the order and go out to the grocery Or bakery and buy something for yourself.
If you are in the mood of baking I have a pretty easy recipe… doesn’t take long and it’s really good.

April 30th. The deadline was May 10th.

Did they tell you you missed the delivery window? If yes, why did you go ahead with the order? In either case, I hope you can still get cheese cake for Yom tov! If you want to post your location people can suggest where to still get.

Small businesses are not open on Erev yom tov. They only have email contact.

Of course you better get a refund if they didn’t deliver. The question is what happened to your cake. I wonder if they delivered it to the wrong address or something. Strange story. I feel bad for you.

I thought it might be delivered today. And then I looked this afternoon and it says their window for delivery was until the 24th. My order still says undelivered.

Yes, that is very disappointing. You should back charge if they don’t refund. Of course you don’t need the cake after shavuos. It’s like getting mishloach manos after Purim.
Can you please run out and buy something else? Lots of grocery stores still have.

Why didn't you contact them yesterday? Maybe it was sent to the wrong address? Did you give them your contact information?
