2. pronounced She In

Because the first place I heard of it was in frum spaces, I literally thought it was a Jewish company and “shein” was a reference to it “beautiful” in Yiddish!!

She-in sounds Chinese while Shane sounds uber frum, so I’d imagine she-in is correct.

I know it was meant to be shee-in, but I still prefer shane, because it sounds like Yiddish for beautiful and most people I know pronounce it that way (I'm in Israel).
For Ali express most here say it like Ah-lee, like the Muslim name Ali.

If a non-Jewish influencer was promoting them, I'd imagine they used the proper pronunciation. So that's how I know to call it shee-in
