Not all dentists do that.

Iv heard of ones that just press and use ultra LED one like the temperature gun.

Whenever I see the piece I think it will never fit.

…allow people to slowly transition off government programs instead of losing eligibility by earning a few $ more than the arbitrary cutoff

…equitable resource management

…prevent people from murdering each other

…eradicate crime

…get along without trying to dominate others (ya know, nuclear weapons and war don’t HAVE to be a thing. Really.)

…avoid sugar addiction

…prevent pregnancy nausea and period cramps

…prevent miscarriages

…provide BC that works without annoying (or severe) side effects

…streamline bureaucratic processes to get stuff done (or better yet, get rid of bureaucracy)

…make as big a deal of vaping/smoking as many communities/rabbanim do about internet and tznius

…make CY boxed mac n cheese

…proactively ensure all kids learn to read using a multisensory approach that works (instead of waiting for the kid to “fail” and only then starting the process of getting them assessed and diagnosed)

…get rid of Common Core Banging head

…get rid of standardized testing mandates

…get rid of that infuriating “buffering” circle when a webpage is loading

I was at a dentist once where they had a machine you stepped on to and it turned and that how they got your x rays. I’m guessing it’s expensive and if their current x ray machines are working there’s no reason to make the change.

…humanely de-scent skunks (I think baby skinks are adorable, but the, ah, aroma is a rather significant deterrent)

…set up a better tuition system

…ensure actual work-life balance!!

…a better health care and health insurance system

…convince health insurance companies that teeth and eyes are (gasp) actually parts of the body and should be covered under regular medical insurance

Well at least they finally came up with an alternative to the 'plaster impression molds' for ortho treatment.
Last year I took my son to ortho office, they did the plaster, he started gagging and gagging and then actually threw up. It took 3 tries. (I remember myself also always gagging) We didnt end up using that office.

This year we went to a different office and my son was dreading the plaster, but they had this updated 3D imaging thing. What a breeze!
