We're in the market for a new car, still deciding between leasing or buying used. Any trustworthy dealerships to recommend?

We've only leased, so I can't speak to buying a car. We have used Maven Motors for almost 20 years and my parents have used them even longer. We have found them to be trustworthy and responsive and good at finding a deal.

Maven is Honest.
Joe from leaseland monsey is trust worthy. lease or buy new used.
had also not so positive expeirence elsewhere in Brooklyn. (cost "error" of $3500, refused to refun when shown)
wont confirm which place, but the above are the ones we were happy with.

How does it work when I go to these frum people as opposed to leasing directly from a Honda, Toyota etc dealership? Is there any difference?
