I need a new (old) car. Mine is very bad.
I only have $3000 to spend.
I saw a car that is 19 yrs old but very low milage and was garaged and very well maintained. I wanted an AWD which this doesn't but I would overlook it but it doesn't have ABS brakes.
Would you buy a car like this?

I wouldn’t, I’d only buy AWD.

No. I wouldn’t buy a car that doesn’t have ABS brakes. ABS brakes are a need not a want. You don’t ever want to be in a situation where you find out how right I am.

What kind of driving do you do. If you only drive around town and not on the highway I would consider it
On the other hand a 19 year old car even with low mileage is a gamble because things start to just deteriorate like rubber and plastic just from age
