Does it sound right that the already overpriced barber shop just raised prices by $6 over regular price for a boy’s/men’s haircut if you want scissors used?

I don't know about lakewood but haircuts definitely went up since covid. the cheap place near me charges $5 for reservations plus they went up a couple of times since then so the cheap $13 haircut I used to get is now $40 plus. I decided to grow a ponytail instead of keepingmy hair short. iguess you can't do that for a boy though.

It takes much longer to give a scissor cut as opposed to using the machine
