I am. Hospital based NP here who refuses to use vacation time to take a legal holiday off. Other hospitals give bonus time if you work, and you get paid anyway if you don’t. Not mine. I have to use vacation time. Not happening.

It's a regular day in most of Lakewood. Kids still have camp. Dh (client based self employed) and me (office job) are both working regular hours

I used to work on legal holidays I switched jobs so now I don't but I am on call in case of emergency I work in healthcare.

All the camps and babysitters there are working......
All the stores in Lakewood are open.
