Anyone gone there and can list a three day itinerary? Family with kids 2-12.
What's there to do? Where to stay?

Has anyone stayed in the days in cottages and knows if they're decent or horrible and if they have any conditioning? Or does anyone have a good Airbnb that they've stayed in and can link it here?

Yes, air conditioning. Not supposed to be anything upscale at all. I can let you know tomorrow when I’ll check in 😊.

We stayed by loon mountain. They had 2 bedroom suites. There was a kitchenette in one room. Very decent but it was a few years ago.

Thanks. I booked a cottage by Days inn that I can cancel. I was looking at Airbnb also. I see a lot of them are by loon.

We were just there last week. We actually found better condos on Vrbo. We took something across from forest Ridge called loon station I think. Right by Loon mountain.

I don’t know how to link things but I’m glad you found some thing. We went with older kids, so I’m not sure what’s good with kids that are so young. We went white water rafting about two hours away which I’m not sure I would recommend. We also hiked Franconia national Park and we did a smaller hike called the basin.

Regarding storyland
Anyone know which rides are there and based on which books?
I want to get my kids some of the old classic books so they can chap the rides.
(I know it isn’t a must and they’ll enjoy the rides regardless but I think it’s cute if they know )

Yep! Been going for years. Now I bring my kids.

There are a lot of rides and things, some water attractions (water ride, and fancy sprinklers). It's mostly based on Mother Goose, and older classic fairy tales - Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks, Billy Goats Gruff, 3 Little Pigs, things like that. There's also an Alice in Wonderland section.

Most of the rides are pretty classic carnival type rides. I think they just put in a big roller coaster, but most of the rides are gentle.

Is storyland good for my kids? Ages oldest is 12. Youngest is two.
Is it similar to storybook lands in New Jersey?

There is a section of nursery rhymes. Many of the rides are just typical like the polar express is ice and penguins, flying helicopters etc..

It’s meant for younger kids. 2 year olds will need an adult on some rides. The 12 year old will have less rides to go on but I loved it at that age. Was fun going with my siblings on rides and it’s a cute park.

This is making me nervous… I’m on the way to NH for the first time with 3 teens. Looks like there isn’t much to do for older kids aside for hiking which they don’t really enjoy.
