Yes that’s the one. I don’t know what it’s called, and I didn’t but it this week.
It’s an illustrated story and is pretty adult even though in junior.

Last week they were going to take him to the auto-da-fe and I think he just found out who betrayed him. I do find it compelling.

There was an earthquake and he was able to get away. His family thought he had died and they sat shiva, but he showed up alive. Someone had helped him get away. He was at a loss to understand why he deserved to be saved. He was shown by another man that H’ does miracles and hashgacha pratis for individuals.
