When it comes to my own kids I always take a 2 pronged approach to bullying.

1) Immediately I make sure the camp or school deals with the preparator. If the camp allows your kid to stay home for a week while the other kid is acting this way that is horrible. Id ask for my money back. My son was getting bothered at camp this summer and the director told the boys that they cant come back for the rest of the summer of it doesn't stop. He scared them to death because it stopped the next day.

2) For the future, the best thing we can do as mothers is to make our kids bully proof. I'm not saying there is something glaringly wrong with anyone's kid but some kids are easier targets then others and the more we can do to strengthen their social skills the better.
