I so badly want to improve and be a better wife and mother and person!
I want to first take care of my health by watching my diet and doing exercise.
I want to reincorporate some tefilla into my day, be it birchas hashachar, some tehilim, or informal tefilla during the day.
I want to be a more present mother which means less screen time for me when the kids are home.
I want to make healthier food for my family which takes more time and resources than I invest now.
I want to procrastinate less and do more in the house.
I want to improve my sleeping habits so I can be more functional throughout the day.
I want to volunteer more and do more chesed.
I want to be a better daughter and friend.
I want to sign up for some classes on self growth or parenting or both.
I want to pursue a hobby.
I want to focus more on what each kid needs and give it to them.
I want to plan a vacation and actually go.
I have such good intentions. This list is embarrassing. It shows how much I neglected myself and my family this year.
I want to start right now in Elul and not push it off till after Yom tov.
How do I not come back here next year and see that nothing changed?

Op I think all these ideas are wonderful but it’s way too much to accomplish in one year. Pick 1-2, maybe 3 that you think you can easily accomplish.
