I was having fun reminiscing and telling my kids about the good old days. They particularly got a kick out of the cheers and especially the Indian ones we used to sing on hikes and in the dining room. I only remembered a few and I would love to remember more! Please post some! Here are the ones I remember. For Refrence I’m in my mid thirties!

- tahngo, tahngo, zumbadeebadababway, nizaalei ballibah balaway followed by the whooping lol
-oh tom the toad/oh Fred the chicken
- (from pioneers) T-1 were so much fun, T2 were better than u, T3 the place to be … etc
-pioneers feel the spirit in the air pioneers with vitality so rare, pioneers we will wow you for sure and leave you screaming for more ENCORE!

Oh my gosh… I went to sternberg for 3 years and then spent the next 8 years in another camp, which became my camp.
I barely even remember that I went to sternberg usually, but wow!! Did all these cheers bring it back! I know every last one!

Anyone remember when they tried Pioneers going in to 7th grade? The trial lasted for a year or two and I was zoche to spend 3 summers as a pioneer. Rabbi Greenwald past our table one Friday night and we were all half asleep and decided we were too young. It was a lot of canoeing and hard work for 12 year olds but I loved it!!
