I'm deciding between these phones, Qin and Fig Flip 2.

Anyone who has been using either, can you please write a quick review?
Trying to make and educated decision.

Thanks!

Cool! Pretty sure the Qin has email? Do you know if that's true?

I think it does have email. Maybe also Uber

The fig has waze, zmanim, siddur, he Hebrew and English calendar, Hebrew keyboard.
It also seems like it's an Israeli phone bcz there's a rav kav app. I heard rumors about people losing calls with the fig.. they sent out an email that they worked it out it was one run that had something wrong and those people were getting new phones mailed

Qin user here
Uber - I couldn't get it to load
I have 2 Gmail accounts open
You can also have waze, weather, smartlist, hebrew date calendar

Works like a mini android.
Is it the best out there? no but I'm happy overall

Dh has the old Fig and its a disaster. I know nothing of the new Fig.

This is really helpful info.

Are you suggesting that there is a better kosher phone option out there?

I have the qin f30. I love how I can text with speech and there is a touchscreen There’s Hebrew calendar, uber waze smart list weather it does get annoying when I accidentally press hold or mute in a call. The camera is ok. Much better than my flip phone.

I wish they had visual voicemail.

Just ordered the Qin. If anyone has any questions down the line, I'll be happy to give you my honest opinion.

Thanks for all the info here.

I have the Qin. I'm happy with it.
I have gmail, heb calendar, waze, uber, weather, text
The only annoying part is that calls can sometimes switch to hold or mute while talking.

There are no perfect kosher phones out there.

Someone else also mentioned that. Why does that happen? Is it on the touch screen or the actual buttons?

It's on the screen.
It only happens sometimes. Never figured it out.

I recently bought the new fig. First l had problems with picture mail. Which they sent me instructions to reset the phone. Now the regular speaker does not work. I can only hear people using Bluetooth. They said they'd put me on the list for a new phone...4 out 5 of my son's friends with fig phones have the same issue.

My daughter has the Quinn, its a great phone but when her phone is off she will not receive a notification of missed calls if anyone called while phone was off. Annoying

When I did my research b4 I bought this for her I was told the fig phone breaks within 3 months

There’s a trick for not accidentally pressing speaker/mute etc while on phone call on Qin-
Once on the phonecall just press any number key on the keyboard , and that gets you away from the screen where u control the call

Besides pressing mute what are downsides of Quin?
What are pictures like?
Good pictures and easy texting are what keep me attached to my smartphone.

The voice to text is amazing. I use that very often. Voice note option too

All pictures I receive are blurry. The ones I take are pretty good.
I figured out that if I get email pictures, then download it, the quality is better.

Hey guys question for those who have the qin phone (I have the EKO BIZ f30)

Was absentminded and fiddled around with my phone, and mistakenly pressed an option that came up when I pressed the "back" button for too long: said "adjust resolution"

Now my screen shrank and everything is tiny and doesn't fit making me ill!

Anyone know how to reverse this? I've tried pressing every button out there aint working

TIA
