I live in Israel and here they don’t start teaching English until fourth grade, but I want my daughter to be able to read English way before that. She’s 5 so I think it’s the appropriate time to start teaching ABCs…. Where can I find workbooks or printable worksheets to be able to teach her properly with professional lessons?

The website twinkl has loads of great resources, many the schools in UK use it. You do need to have a subscription though.

Reading eggs is a great program, but it’s online and you have to have a subscription.
I think they do have workbooks as well

Twinkl actually have a phonics program that many school use.
Choose a method and have someone brief you. There is fight reading or phonics. All schools in the UK these days use phonics. read write Inc is very popular and recently I have heard of some schools that really enjoy twinkl phonics. I have looked into it and it looks nice.

This article seems very helpful- I used to use Starfall (the first suggestion on the list) a lot when I was a teacher. Like they say, you have to pay if you want access to everything but there are lots of good free activities on it as well that you don't need a membership for.

Just for abc, you don't need anything to start except an abc chart and practice singing "a is for apple, ah ah ah, b is for banana, buh buh buh" etc while pointing at the chart. Once you have been doing it for a few weeks, start pointing out of order and see if she knows it.
