for 60-70 dollars or less. Want to buy online. I can't test warmth level over the screen and I had bad experiences of ordering coats that then turned out to be nothing more than a jacket with an extra thin lining. We live in a cold climate, so I need the coat to be warm while he plays outdoors.

Is this warm? It looks like it's plastic on the inside which will make him sweat, not a cozy warm interior lining. Did anyone buy this and can weigh in?

This isnt a toddlers coat, it's for bigger boys with sizes starting at too big for my child.

I got from alipics last year they were super warm and lasting great...I sized up so my kids will wear them again this year iyh

I think it is a jacket. It is called a jacket.
Look at the product details (which does look like a coat), gap has great return policy.
Are you using it with a blanket/bunting/footmuff in a stroller? then its good enough. The little kids sweat a lot. If the child is walking or waiting for a bus/carpool, I'd reconsider.

I usually get heavy parka puffer type coats from Gap. Like this one, but I usually spend in the $50-$70 range. I see last year I think I got it when it had 40% off, and it probably was not at full price to begin with, but I'm not sure. I think the ones for my girls were a little more expensive, maybe they just cost more or I got them when it was not as good a sale.
On the bottom of the screen or the top it usually shows what their sale is that is going on. Sometimes it shows 40% or less and you can select to apply it to your cart I think. This item I linked below is not on such a big sale today.

I see these names in my past orders, so it would be something similar. They probably don't call it the exact same thing every year.
