I don’t have a waist so anything with a waist looks weird on me and I have a pregnant looking stomach (and behind) so I wear more high waisted , or loose items. But there are many plus size women who have the right figure for a belted dress. My sister looks great in styles like that .
It all depends on your body and figure.

They are all really pretty but I have found that anything waisted from shein sits so high up and is basically maternity on me. Or worse. Highlighting my large chest and round belly. But that's my body. It could be better if you are flatter on top.

Ya, that's my fear 😨. Big chested and belly too...But the no waisted dresses look like a huge bag. So I am not sure what the solution is, other than lose 100 pounds, which is obviously easier said than done!

These are really pretty dresses, having said that it really depends on your body shape to figure out what would be flattering on you. I'm plus size and I wouldn't wear any of those because they wouldn't be flattering and they'd make me look bigger. I know for my shape which is large hourglass, I can't wear anything flowy or loose or I'll look bigger than I am. I prefer straight cut styles that go in at the wait or are belted at the waist. I also personally look better in solids than in prints.
In my opinion, once you know your body shape and research what styles look best, it'll be much easier to shop. I ordered for yomtov a number of dresses on shein and most fit well and looked good.

I have the first dress, in the smallest size. It happens to be very flattering - it has a nice amount of shirring at the high-waist which kind of hugs my body, and it looks really nice on, the top sort of puffs slightly and gives you more space. I got lots of compliments. I changed the buttons, because the ones it comes with are too plain for the dress. I also took in the sleeves a little (I sew) to make them fit tight. It's a really nice dress.

I really like the first 2.
I would not wear extra ruffles like in the last 2! It would make me look double my size!!!
(BTW I think that about this style, even for smaller size, unless you're super skinny it's really not flattering!)

How do you figure out what styles suit you? My body doesn't have much of a shape, it's kind of one big jiggling blob, unfortunately. How do I figure out what styles, if any, would suit me?

Honestly I think those will rlly show a big belly. And you really need an excellent bra that lifts perfectly for those dresses to look good. I would buy the potatoe sack looking ones and bring to Taylor to have them take in a bit by waist where needed so there’s no emphasis on the belly and boob. I do that often and rlly makes huge difference in how I look
