Try using a hair dryer and blow on the hottest setting and then scrape it off very gently. Just watch your fingers as the heat is very hot.

Per the internet:
Allow wax to dry and remove excess by scraping it off or by freezing the garment and snapping off the frozen wax. To remove any remaining wax, place white unpatterned paper towels on either side of the fabric and use an iron on a low, non-steam. Be careful not to leave the iron in one spot for too long.

Put paper towel or shmatte on tablecloth and run hot iron on top. It will melt wax and will be absorbed in paper towel. Repeat with clean paper towel until done. Should be relatively quick and easy.
