As long as you sent the $250 twice from within the chase app, it’ll work. If you sent it from within the capital one app then it won’t work.

I did it via the Chase website as an instant transfer.

I first did a transfer and it didn’t work then I called them and they said zelle would work which it did.

Also I had to call for my husband and they just wanted to confirm his phone number. I would call them if they are asking, they probably just want to confirm something.

Depositing in person will not work, it needs to be an electronic deposit. Zelle worked for someone on this thread.
