If you're using it the way it's commonly used, it generally means a woman in the workplace who doesn't feel that she's qualified for her job and worries that she's "faking it." It has been pointed out by some that men rarely feel unqualified and they sometimes take jobs in which they don't yet have experience. Women, instead of acknowledging their accomplishments and their hard work attaining the position, often describe jobs as just having coincidentally come up as an opportunity (like it fell into my lap). If you mean something else, I'd be curious to know what kind of an imposter you are...

This is kind of what I meant.
I suffer from creative imposter syndrome.
Im a creative. Everyone claims my work is incredible (I know it is because I'm very busy bh). But when I look at my work I think its terrible and I dont understand why people pay me to create stuff for them.
