I drive once a week (about 1/2 hour drive), until they open a decent one closer (there was a rumor a couple of years back that there would be one at Tzomet Yarkon). It's worth it for me, even though I have to pay for gas now, to find exactly what I want, at a decent price, in a decent environment. People think I am crazy but I got ILL shopping at the closer stores in Petach Tikva and it didn't take me that much less time. This is one of my "tourist attractions", where I take my chu"l friends to see the bounty of Israel. It's insane that there is such a market in this poor country - and it's always full there. I did not take pix of the cheese, fish, deli, chicken and meat counters. They are amazing, too.
