I will try to respond to most questions, but not respond if it's too revealing of who I am.
Other children of BT are free to post here too

So funny because most people I know/ grew up with in my community their parents are BT. I grew up with it being such a norm.

I am yeshivish

I was redt to children of OOT FFBs, children of BTs, children of JPF parents from more modern/less affiliated background, children of BT and geirim

All on a spectrum of yeshivish, some more than others

I don't know if my situation got me less suggestions... I'm a girl...
My brother got tons of suggestions, most are daughters of FFBs

So normal where I grew up, I wouldn't even think it's an issue.
No one cared at all.
I'm thinking of at least a dozen friends of mine who married children of FFB, many married into families of yichus.
A total non issue.

Do you still have more or less the same hashkafa as your parents, or did you shift. If shifted, then how? What about your siblings?

Oh! I was also redt to a boy with real yichus, (father is a Rav and grandfather wad a famous RY of artscroll biography) but the family had some other issues, so we didn't pursue it.

One of the boys I went out with, his father is a choshuv Rosh Yeshiva out of town. But the boy wasn't as yeshivish as I would have felt comfortable with.

But I disagree, Essie, my siblings and I were generally not redt to families with yichus, besides for the boy I mentioned above. Mostly BT children.

My parents shifted more and more to the right as the years went on and their kids got older, but never really yeshivish. More like between very frum JPF to Yeshivish.

Siblings range anywhere from very yeshivish, to regular yeshivish (like me), to light yeshivish, to JPF, to OTD but healthy and respectful

My parents are also BT’s. OOT, so no one I wanted to date there.
DH is a BT with yichus. He was in Ohr Somayach when we met.
