If you have a library card or EBT card you can get in free to many fun museums I feel like many people do not know this tip.

Library card from which state/city?

For EBT- look up museums for all- there is a list of all the museums In the US that you can access
For library- look up culture pass and reserve your tickets online

Thank you! I did not know that. My friend without internet access just asked me yesterday to find out about a certain museum that has one free day a week, but it's Monday, which will no longer be chol hamoed. She was so excited to hear that she can get free access any day with her EBT card.

It also works in different states. We went to please touch museum in Philadelphia last summer. I just had to show them my (NY) Medicaid card.
So a pebt card should work too. I made reservations online, and I think it was $1 entry fee per person.

Some places are very strict. You can only come with ID that matches the card. Some only take EBT. You have to check each place. Some cost $1-4 to get in per person.

P-ebt card will work fine.

I didn't see much of interest in the NY library culture pass options. A couple of ok offers. None that I would really call fun unless something changed since last time I checked.

However my friend in Philadelphia was able to get us into great places from their library! So if you live there or nearby you're in luck.

For little kids yes. My opinion is a little out of date because my kids are older now but I found it great from ages 2ish (maybe even 1.5) to 6-7ish (I'd only bother with a 2 year old if you live nearby or are going with an older kid too)
