I am a cliched mom/wife/worker who is overwhelmed and exhausted and totally neglecting my own inner world. I need interests and hobbies to focus on myself.

Oooo I feel you. I have to get better at taking care of myself too.
Some things I enjoy doing...
Seeing friends.
Going for a coffee by myself.
Taking a walk.
Driving to nowhere with good music on.
Painting.
Retail therapy, specifically in the home department.

I turned my passion/hobby for space planning and kitchen design into a business, so at least I love my work!
As far as hobbies I never figured out how to money from: Quilting, reading, birdwatching, and my pond — which recently sprung a leak and is ready for a redesign.
And a morning ritual: Making myself a frothy latte — grinding the coffee beans, brewing the espresso, whipping up the milk to a high froth, and enjoying a leisurely breakfast of the latte and some berries.

Especially in the fall and winter, going outdoor for a long walk/run is so invigorating and really lifts my spirits!!

I play Dungeons & Dragons approximately twice a month, each session lasting about 2.5 hours.
We are 8 adults who get together over zoom to role play as wizards and rogues (and druids and rangers and bards…), roll dice to fight monsters, and create an awesome story together. Being an unabashed nerd and creatively collaborating gives me LIFE.
