I make 1 roll. We eat salmon as well & not everyone eats gefilta.

We don't eat much of it so just 1 loaf (since we have guests). Lots and lots of salmon.

Are you plating it or serving at family style? That really changes the amount you will need.

We only eat gefilte fish at night and are eating out one night seudah, so we'll just skip it for the other night
It's not a favorite food around here

I cooked 5 rolls then ordered additional 10 more slices from a takeout. I forgot that we eat today too. We're a family of 12 eaters and we all eat gefilta fish.

We have 2 rolls but I think 1 is enough. Normally we use half a roll per shabbos which would mean 1 should be enough, but sometimes dh snacks on fish and finishes it. We're only 2 people having fish 4 meals plus dh snacks.
