I am looking to outsource some data entry work to India. Does anybody have any info on this?? Maybe a website were I can find people in India looking for jobs??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have any advice regarding your original question, sorry. Good luck.

About hiring in Israel, for those who suggested it: I don't know if you can legally pay only $5 an hour in Israel. That's under minimum wage. It could be there are different rules for companies based abroad, but I don't think so.

I do think it might be a good idea to hire in Israel anyway, just because you'll find a lot more people who can type quickly and accurately in English. When I worked very part-time for IDT (company that deals with companies that outsource to Israel and elsewhere), a lot of the work came from American companies that had outsourced to India but switched to Israel after finding that the Indian offices weren't able to meet their standards or their timetable. Minimum wage in Israel (if you would have to pay it) is currently just under $6/hour, so not much higher than what you're looking for. While you'd pay a bit more, you'd almost certainly get people who can work much faster, and you could easily end up saving money.
